  • Salt 1 teaspoon
  • Black Pepper ½ teaspoon
  • Garlic Clove 2, minced
  • Olive Oil 2 tablespoons
  • Fresh Jalapeno 2 medium, deseeded and diced
  • Cheddar Cheese 8 oz (shaved)
  • Heavy-Cream Yogurt ½ cup
  • Mayonnaise ¼ cup
  • Smoked Paprika 1 teaspoon
  • Lemon Juice 1 tablespoon

Method

  1. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and half the garlic
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high
  3. Sear chicken 3-4 minutes per side until golden

  5. Layer sauce, jalapenos, and cheese onto bread before topping with seared chicken
  6. Bake 4 minutes until cheese melts
  7. Serve on toasted buns

Notes

Use thighs for extra juiciness
Avocado oil substitutes olive oil
Yellow jalapenos reduce heat
Sharp cheddar for stronger flavor
Layer sauce, jalapenos, then cheese for flavor depth
Avoid overloading the bun to prevent sogginess
