Ingredients
  

  • Butterfly Pea Flower Powder
  • 1 cup (200 ml) hot water
  • 2 tablespoons honey or agave nectar
  • 1 cup (240 ml) unsweetened oat milk
  • 6–8 ice cubes
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds (optional)
  • 1 scoop matcha powder (optional)

Method
 

  1. Steep 1 tablespoon butterfly pea flower powder in 1 cup hot water for 5 minutes until deep blue.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in 2 tablespoons honey until dissolved; let cool to room temperature.
  3. Blend the cooled tea with 1 cup oat milk until smooth.
  4. Add ice cubes to a glass, pour the tea mixture over them.
  5. Top with lemon zest and chia seeds before serving for a textured finish.

Notes

Use dried butterfly pea flowers for a more authentic infusion.
Agave nectar or maple syrup can replace honey for vegan option.
Cold brew the tea ahead for convenience.
Matcha powder adds subtle green tea flavor—adjust to taste.
