Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups unsweetened cranberry juice
  • 2 shots (60 ml) fresh espresso
  • 2 tablespoons simple syrup
  • 1 cup sparkling water
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon fresh mint leaves
  • 1 cup crushed ice
  • Garnish: lime wheel and mint sprig

Method
 

  1. Brew 2 shots of espresso and let it cool to room temperature
  2. Chill unsweetened cranberry juice in the refrigerator
  3. In a glass, add crushed ice and pour cooled espresso over it
  4. Mix in cranberry juice, simple syrup, and fresh lime juice
  5. Top with sparkling water and gently stir to combine
  6. Add mint leaves to the glass and garnish with a lime wheel and mint sprig

Notes

Use 100% unsweetened cranberry juice to avoid added sugar
Cold brew coffee can be substituted for a smoother flavor
Replace simple syrup with honey or agave nectar for a natural sweetener
Lemon juice can substitute lime juice for a different citrus note
Dried mint yields subtler flavor, so use sparingly
Optional garnish: add rosemary instead of mint for herbal variation
