  • 2 tbsp Cajun spice blend (paprika, cayenne, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, oregano, salt, pepper)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (or avocado oil)
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard (or yellow mustard)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced (optional)
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Method
 

  1. Season chicken breasts evenly with Cajun spice blend, pressing to adhere.
  2. Drizzle olive oil over seasoned chicken, ensuring full coverage.
  3. Place chicken in a shallow dish, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 15–20 minutes.
  4. Whisk together honey, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and minced garlic (if using).
  5. Grill chicken over medium-high heat for ~4–5 minutes per side, basting with glaze during the last 2 minutes of cooking.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Chicken thighs can be used for richer flavor and juicier results.
Replace lemon juice with lime juice for a citrusy variation.
Add a pinch of smoked paprika to the glaze for added depth.
Marinating can be skipped in a time crunch (dry rub works well).
